Carey, North F., age 75 of Fort Lauderdale passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2006 after an extended illness. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he had been a local resident since 1961 after moving here from Flint, MI. Prior to retirement, North was a surveyor for the marine industry. He is survived by his loving wife Norma; by children, North E. Carey, Todd E. Carey, Dawn E. Carey, and Anne C. Tarkinson; by six grandchildren; and by many other friends and relatives. Inurnment will take place 11am Saturday, July 1st at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Southeast Florida in North's memory. Arrangements were made by: Kraeer Funeral Home and Cremation Center 4061 N. Federal Hwy., Fort Lauderdale Phone: 954-565-5591.
