Johnie C. Means, 83, Indianapolis, formerly of Saluda, IN, died September 16, 2003. He was a mechanic for Bud's Auto Parts in Avon for 20 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during WWII. He was a member of Ben Davis Christian Church. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Little Red Door and St. Vincent Hospice.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Hudson Means; stepdaughters, Ellen Dudek, Joyce Meisenholder; stepsons Carson Smith and Steve Postma; brother Roy Means; several nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 5 sisters, 5 brothers, and 2 step-daughters.
Services entrusted to Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway Chapel.
