Visitation for Wilma "Jean" Hand of Midway, Arkansas, will be Friday, September 11, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home. Funeral and Graveside Services will be held in San Fernando, California.
Jean passed away September 6, 2015, in Midway, Arkansas at the age of 92. She was born August 6, 1923, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, the daughter of Wilburn Aaron and Velma Victoria Rogers Couch. She married Donald Hand on May 26, 1979, at Yuma, Arizona, and worked for Lockeed Electronics and her parents convenience store/restaurant. Jean lived in Midway since moving from Friendly Valley, California, in 1986. Jean was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and loved animals.
Jean is survived by many nieces and nephews in Texas, Oklahoma, and California, as well as her caretakers and friends in Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Burial will be in the Glen Haven Memorial Park, San Fernando, California.
