Born February 7, 1937, in Stonehurst, Calif. Passed away December 20, 2007, in Lake Hughes, Calif. Jackie was the proud owner of Jackies Country Kitchen in Leona Valley for 23 years. Home of her world famous Peanut Butter Pie. She was an active member in Lake Hughes, and throughout the years she had served as president of the Chamber of Commerce, chairman of the 49er days parade and sponsored many community events. Jackie retired in 2003, to do more of the things she loved. At the top of her list was spending time with family, traveling, going to Las Vegas, attending to her yard, watching her great-grandchildren play, embroidering and being with her puppies Buddy and Roxy. Survived by her daughters Linda Martin and husband Larry Martin, Janet McDonald, Terri Moss and husband Dave Moss, 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be held from 9 a.m., to 11 a.m., with Service at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 27, 2007, both at Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lancaster.
