DORA YARBRO
LOVING--Memorial service for Dora Lou Yarbro, 75, of Moss Point, Miss., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Loving with Rev. Carol Grebing of Hillcrest United Methodist Church officiating. Cremation has taken place and inurnment of cremains will follow at Sunset Gardens Memorial Park.
Mrs. Yarbro died Sunday, June 21, 1998, at Moss Point.
West Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born in Carlsbad on June 24, 1922 to Ward Kerr and Zelda Nymeyer Lackey. She attended grade school in Loving and graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1940.
She married A.R. "Dempsey" Yarbro in 1949. She was the first teller for Loving State Bank. She also worked as a clerk for Star Pharmacy for many years. Later she was employed with and retired from the Eddy County Clerk's office.
Mrs. Yarbro moved to the Mississippi Gulf coast in 1991 to be near her daughter and family.
Survivors include sons, Charles E. Yarbro of Moses Lake, Wash. and F. Ernest Yarbro of Cloudcroft; daughter, Kaydene Stanley of Ocean Springs, Miss.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
