Ada — Services for BRANT MATTHEW WINTON, 23, Ada, are at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Baptist Church. Calvin Nolen will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Winton died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2007, near Goldsby. He was born March 9, 1984, in Ada, to Jeff and Tammy Lynn Parker Winton.
Mr. Winton graduated from Ada High School in 2002, where he was a member of the Honors Society, the Spanish Club and the Ada High School Marching Band. As a junior in high school in 2001, he served as a page at the Oklahoma State Capital for then Sen. Brad Henry. He was an award-winning gymnast, winning at the Sooner State Games. He had attended East Central University and was employed at I.R.T. in Ada. He was enlisted in the National Guard and set for deployment in January 2008.
Survivors include his parents, Jeff and Tammy Winton of the home; a sister, Lyndsey Winton of the home; a brother, Alexander Winton of the home; grandparents, Larry and Helen Parker, Idabel, and Martha Winton, Ada; and two aunts, Johnna White and husband Brian, Seminole, and Sandra Sawyer, Dallas, Texas.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Duke Winton in 1993, and an aunt, Tracy Parker in 1991.
Bearers will be Josh Fields, Rowdy Estabrooks, Shawn Estabrooks, Taylor East, David Witherington, and Jason Lee.
