HELEN PARKER
March 6, 1947 ~ March 6, 2020

Helen Ruth Parker, age 73, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020 at her home in Idabel, OK.

She was born on March 6, 1947 in Broken Bow, OK to Monroe and Lottie Singleton Gragg.

Helen was a member of the Idabel Gray High School Class of 1966.

She married Larry Parker in Idabel on April 9, 1965.

Helen enjoyed decorating her home for the different holidays. She was very crafty and creative. Helen was a member of the Eastern Star, The Red Hat Club and was very active in the Haworth Chamber of Commerce.

A member of Victory Temple Church of God in Haworth, Helen and Larry had moved to Ada in 1979 and lived there until moving back to Idabel in 2003.

Helen was a homemaker and also worked outside the home but most importantly she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and most recently a great-grandmother to Tyson whom she adored. Her family was precious to her and they will miss her greatly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Tracy Lee Parker; a grandson, Brant Matthew Winton; and a sister, Wanda Lou Black.

Helen is survived by her husband, Larry Parker of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Jeff Winton of Ada, OK, step-daughter, Sandra Sawyer of Dallas, TX;

Grandchildren, Lyndsey East and husband Taylor and Alexander Winton all of Ada, OK; a great-grandson, Tyson East of Ada, OK;

Sisters, Diane Lancaster of Seven Points, TX, Mary Gail Randolph and Joanie Stacey both of Idabel, OK; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at the White Family Chapel in Idabel, OK with Bro. Jack Brown officiating.

Interment will follow at Marshall Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2020 at the funeral home.
