Charles Robert Lee, Sr. beloved husband, father & Granddaddy, went home to be with the Lord on July 3, 2016. He was born May 17, 1927 in Dallas, Texas, the son of Emmett F. & Allie V. Lee. A US Navy veteran of World War II, Mr Lee went on to a career as an accountant. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, E. Frank Lee, Jr. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Dorlis Stiles Lee; son, Charles Robert Lee, Jr.; daughter, Trudy Hill & husband, Charlie; and grandson, Adam Hill-Walters. A devoted Christian, Mr Lee & his wife were founding members of Faith Bible Church in DeSoto where he also served as founding choir director. Funeral Service is 2:00 PM, Wednesday July 6 at Faith Bible Church, 1437 W. Pleasant Run Rd. DeSoto, TX 75115. Burial will follow at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Tuesday at Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville.
