Donald Guy Sering

Donald G. Sering, 70, Apt. 11, Canopic Apartments, 213 South Jefferson Street, retired painter, died at Ball Hospital Monday morning following a years's illness.
Except for 20 years spent in Toledo, Mr. Sering had resided most of his life in this area. During World War I, he served in France with the U.S. Army and during World War II, he served with the U.S. Navy and was a chief petty officer at the time of his discharge.
Until his retirement two years ago, Mr. Sering had been employed by Odle Painting and Decorating Co. for 20 years. He was a member of Delaware Post 19, American Legion.
His only survivor is his wife, Vivian.
Funeral arrangement are being completed at the Meeks Mortuary.
