Floyd Lorn Foster

Floyd L. (Ky) Foster, 53, of 116 N. Liberty St., died Monday morning at his home after an illness of two years. He was a native of Owenton, Ky., and came here as a child with his parents, Mundy and Lila Fortner Foster.
He served in the Army in World War I and was a charter member of Delaware Post 19, American Legion and was a member of the Last Man's Club and Moose Lodge 33.
Survivors include two sisters with whom he resided, Mrs. Jessie Bailey and Mrs. Pauline Mitchell; a niece, Linda Kay Mitchell, and a nephew, Thurman Bailey of Tallahassee, Fla.; and two aunts, Mrs. Carl Flatter of Winchester and Mrs. Aura O'Canlon of Owenton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday at Meeks Mortuary by the Rev. Robert J. Sulanke, with burial in the Legion plot in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
