James Sharp and Charles Carbin Old Citizens
Two old residents of the territory both living at Lone Grove died Sunday at about the same time. Death came to each at about twelve o'clock. James M. Sharp of Lone Grove was one and Charles Carbin of the same place was the other.

Sharp was 64 years of age. He had served in the United States army in Company I, 7th regiment Tennessee Mounted Infantry during the war. His death was caused from dropsy of the heart. The remains were buried this afternoon the Rose Hill cemetery, south of Ardmore. The funeral services were under the auspices of the local G.A.R. Post No. 18 of Ardmore, of which deceased was a member.

Charles Carbin, age 53, died at his home in Lone Grove of pneumonia. The remains were buried at Lone Grove cemetery this afternoon at 3 o'clock. the deceased was one of the oldest residents in this section having lived here more than twenty years."
