Mrs. Laura Jane Collins (Bryant) died peacefully at home on February 9th 2018 in Anna, TX at the age of 77.
Laura is survived by her husband Samuel Collins of Anna TX, two sons, Mr. and Mrs. James Collins of Arlington TX and Mr. and Mrs. Derek Collins of Allen TX, her daughter Dana Northcutt of Anna TX, and her four grandchildren David, Jerry, Laurel and Maxwell. Laura is preceded in death by her mother and father Alta B and James Bryant of Anna TX.
Laura Jane Bryant was born on December 23rd 1940 in Anna, TX to Mr. and Mrs. James Bryant of Anna TX. Laura graduated from Anna High School in 1959. Laura married Samuel H Collins on September 1 1962. Laura was a member of First Christian Church of Anna TX. She was also a member of the Anna Historical society.
A viewing is scheduled for February 13, 2018 from 6pm to 8pm at Scoggins Funeral Home at 637 Van Alstyne Parkway Van Alstyne, TX 75495.
Pastor Scott Harkless from First Christian Church of Anna will officiate the graveside services on February 14th 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Van Alstyne cemetery. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Laura’s life. Flowers and condolences may be sent to Scoggins Funeral Home.
