The source in Ancestry, "U.S., New England Marriages Prior to 1700," records the marriage date in double-dating style (old calendar/new calendar) of 20 Mar 1698/9. Therefore, by modern, Julian calendar dating, the wedding was 20 Mar 1699. In the year 1699, Bristol was part of Massachusetts Bay Colony, as Plymouth Colony had been dissolved.----------------------------------
