Jonathan settled on a rise of ground between Bristol and Warren RI known as Pecks Hill which included the Land from Peck's Rock across the Neck to Little Narrows. The beautifully situated homestead remained in the family until 1838. He married Elizabeth Throop and had 6 children. She presented the will to the Judge of Probate, July 3, 1717 (Taunton Records, b.3, p.160. He had 6 children and lived about 50 years. According to the following, he must have died before 1717: Suggested edit: This date of death just can't be correct, as his wife, Elizabeth (Throope) Peck, remarried to William Pabodie in 1715. This makes sense, as William's first wife Judith had died on 26 Jul 1714. There was no such thing in that day as divorce, so Elizabeth Peck would not have been free to remarry if Jonathan were still living. He must have died around the same time as Judith Pabodie.
