WEST BLOCTON – Funeral services for Dora L. Smith, 80, who died Thursday at Meadowood Nursing home in Bessemer, will be today at 2 p.m. at Greenpond Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. James Weed and the Rev. Winford Reach officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, Rockco Funeral Home directing.
She is survived by her husband, Corbin L. Smith, West Blocton, six sons, James Henry Smith, Lish Lowery Smith, Jack Edward Smith and Sam William Smith, J.C. Smith, all of West Blocton, and Huey Franklin Smith, Selma; a daughter, Mrs. Velma Lester, Selma; a brother, Samuel Herrin, West Frankfort, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs Louisa Lemons, West Frankfort, Ill., and Mrs. Martha Perkins, Hollywood, Fla.; 28 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
