This afternoon our lovely mum passed away, it took cancer 4 months to take her away from us. She went peacefully with us kids around her. I know she's OK wherever she is and I'll try and live my life how she would want me to.

My wonderful, lovely, beautiful mum passed away peacefully yesterday afternoon, with all of us by her side. Absolutely nothing prepares you for that and it was without a doubt the hardest day of my life. Some small comfort was making it to a wonderful hospice with lots of amazing staff on hand for support. Still can't quite believe it's all real. We'll all miss her so so much. Funny and caring til the end. Love you so much mum, I'll do my best to live life to its fullest and make a positive impact. Miss you.
