TUSCALOOSA Wayne Alden Ryan, born November 4, 1934, age 69, of 741 69th Street, died March 27, 2004, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be held Monday, March 29, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel. Rev. Don Falgout and Rev. Billy Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park. Visitation is tonight from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Tim and Ruth Ryan of Tuscaloosa.
Survivors include wife of over 50 years, Sybil Bailey Ryan, daughters, Ginger (Richard) Blakney, Gordo; Susan (George) Tatum, Coaling; son, Victor Ryan, Tuscaloosa; sister, Wanda Ryan, Tuscaloosa; brother, T. W. (Billy) Ryan, Moundville; granddaughter, Anna Tatum, grandsons, Jonathan Standifer, David Standifer, Roy Ryan and Wesley Tatum.
He was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He will truly be missed by his family and friends. We know heaven welcomed him with open arms.
Pallbearers will be Billy Ryan, George Tatum, Jonathan Standifer, David Standifer, Roy Ryan and Wesley Tatum.
