LaFAYETTE - Mr. James Eason, 82, of LaFayette died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 1996, at Randolph County Hospital.
Grave side services were held Friday, Jan. 5 at 3 p.m. at LaFayette City Cemetery with the Rev. Tom Leverett officiating.
Mr. Eason is survived by his wife, Allene Eason of LaFayette, two brothers, Eugene Eason of Penton and Gordon Eason of Opelika, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Born June 19, 1913 in Chambers County, Mr. Eason was a member of the First Baptist Church of Titusville, Fla. He was retired from Cape Canaveral after 25 years of service. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. Mr. Eason was a member of Sylacauga Lodge F & AM.
Sanders Funeral Home in LaFayette handled arrangements.
