Ryan Leslie Mills, 24, of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015. He was born August 3, 1990 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Ryan attended Fort Gibson High School and graduated with the class of 2009.
He was an assemblyman for ACME Engineering and a sales associate for O’Reilly Auto Parts.
Ryan had a very strong work ethic and was known to be a very hard worker in every task he took on. He was also very loyal and helpful to his family and friends. Ryan loved to go mudding and play video games. He also loved spending time with his dog, Yogi. Ryan will always be remembered for having a smile on his face and a kind word to share.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Vonda Lea Mills; and grandfather, John Kilmartin.
Ryan is survived by his father, Michael L. Cooper and wife LuAnn of Keefeton, OK; stepfather, Terry Mills of Denton, Texas; sister, Tara Brewster and husband Artie of Muskogee, OK; brothers, Ian Cooper of Watonga, OK, and Kyle Cooper of Keefeton, OK; grandparents, Barbara Kilmartin of McClain, OK, and Robert and Shirley Cooper of Keefeton, OK; uncle, Wesley Zollars and wife Merry of Porum, OK; aunts, Donna Harkins of Porum, OK, and Lisa Smith and husband David of Muskogee, OK; a host of great aunts and uncles and numerous cousins; and his beloved basset hound, Yogi.
The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2015 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel.
A celebration of life service in honor of Ryan will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Keefeton Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Barks officiating.
Interment will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery with Michael Cooper, Terry Mills, Kyle Cooper, Ian Cooper, Dale Terrell, and Matt Edgar serving as pallbearers.
