Della Mae Ventling

(19 May 1913 - 12 Mar 1950)

Della Mae was born the eldest child of Loid and Lizzie (Cline) Ventling on May 9, 1913 near Beaver City, Nebraska. Della spent most of her childhood south of Edison, Nebraska, and later moved with her family to Bartley. She attended Bartley High School where she graduated in 1931.
Della attended college studying and receiving her teacher's certficate. She began her teaching career at District #99 in Red Willow County, and later finished her teaching career in Riverton, Nebraska.
After courting for nearly 4 years, and secretly being engaged for most of that time, Della was united in marriage to Alpha Omega Bolles on June 21, 1942. They were blessed with two daughters, Shirley Ann born on April 21, 1943 and Judy Kay born on December 8, 1949.
Sadly, Della become ill with a heart ailment shortly after her daughter, Judy, was born. She passed away March 12, 1950 at the University of Nebraska at Omaha hospital.
