John Horace Tingle

John “Horace” Tingle, 70, of the Belah Community, passed from this life on Sunday, April 15, 2018, at his residence.
He was born August 16, 1947 in Belah to the union of his parents, C. W. and Agnes Jesse Whatley Tingle. Horace was a trucker for T. K. Stanley.
Services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 17, in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena with the Revs. Larry Chapman and Mike Devillier officiating. Interment followed in the Belah Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers, Inc. of Jena.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sheron Collins Tingle; and his parents.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Jacob Tingle and Jonathan Tingle, both of Jena; brother, Lester Tingle of Belah; sister, Carolyn T. Dekyzer of Alexandria; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Peter Dekyzer, Justin Dekyzer, Ronnie McDaniel, Dennis Bradford, Dannon Tingle and Michael Tingle.
