They married in 1874 at Leyburn, Yorkshire, England, according to England and Wales Marriage Registration Index, 1837-2005 https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:2DGD-4TC. They had 6 children who all appear with them in census records at Bolton, Lancashire, England. In 1881 both parents appeared with Florence, Clara, & Sarah Ellen. In 1891 both parents appeared with Florence, Clara, Sarah Ellen, Ada, Fred & Margaret. In 1901 both parents appeared with Clara, Sarah Ellen, Fred & Margaret. In 1911 both parents appeared with Margaret. The census records consistently state that the children were all born in Lancashire, England, that their father was from Cheshire, and their mother was from Yorkshire. These records identify the parents of all six of these children as William Hodgkinson [L74B-232] and Margaret Bushby [KGVL-X77]. However, on FamilySearch Family Tree someone has linked them to a different William Hodgkinson [KCV3-KSH], who was born 1850 in Cumberland County, England, died in Portland, Oregon, and is buried at the Dunsmuir City Cemetery in Siskiyou County, California, next to his wife, Margaret James Forster [KC6K-YPY], born 1853 in Cumberland County, England. These are clearly not the parents of the six children because their dates and places of birth do not match the available records for this family. For this reason, these children should be unlinked from them on FamilySearch Family Tree.
