Bette Ann Herring was born November 1, 1939 in Rising City, NE and passed away December 23, 2016 in Dallas, TX. She was preceded in death by her father and mother Lyle E. and Ruth V. Tannahill and granddaughter Christa. Bette is survived by her devoted husband, Ralph Herring; children Don Herring and wife Lyn, Nancy Nord and husband John, Jo Dell and husband Doug, Steve Herring and wife Dianna; grandchildren: Josh, Ali, Becca, Angie, Ryan and Kaitlin; great grandchildren: Rose and Bailey; brother and sister, Bud Tannahill and Janie Jones. Bette was an excellent cook, a lifelong homemaker and mother. She was an active volunteer in many of her children’s organizations including Aggie Moms. Her Christmas candy and handmade bears were treats appreciated by family and friends. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 3 pm, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
