NORFOLK - Jane Gwendolyn Wilson, 82, of the 9300 block of Sturgis St., passed away March 24, 2007, in Bon Secours DePaul Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 15, 1924, to Charles and Mabel Lawrence and was the widow of Robert W. Wilson Sr. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Lee Hatton of Richmond, Va.; her son, Robert W. Wilson Jr. of Norfolk; her sister, Mary Bob Darden of Opelika, Ala.; her brother, Charles Lawrence of Titus, Ala.; and three grandchildren, Christopher W. Hatton, Robert Scott Hatton and Gwendolyn E. Wilson, all of Richmond.
A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Dr. Dan Abbott officiating. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, Monday from 6 to 7 p.m.
