Obituary: Wanda "Dene" Larkin, 79, passed away April 23, 2004, in the comfort of her home in Springfield. Dene was actively involved in the protection and welfare of all animals, but especially loved her dogs. She had a passion for flowers and gardening.Dene is survived by her daughter, Dannielle Dorris of California; a sister, Gerrie Daily of California; two grandchildren, Sean Fleming of Springfield and Lindsey Dorris of California.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Santina Albaugh, and her husband, Clay Larkin.
Dene made many friends through the years and was loved by all who were lucky enough to know her.
Memorial services are at Greenlawn Funeral Home South, April 30, 2004, with graveside services immediately following.
