Jeanne Y. Stiff was born in Cherryvale, Kansas on January 3, 1924 and passed away in Hanford, Ca on October 31, 2016. Jeanne was a teacher at Delta View School for many years and played the organ for over 50 years. Initially it started at First Christian church then at First Baptist Church.
She was predeceased by her parents Arlie Grant and Erma Mae Young, her husband Jack R. Stiff and one son James Stiff. Jeanne is survived by her brother, Arlie Grant Jr. and 4 sons: Jack (Arlene), Jan (Karen) Jon (Sylvia) and Jerry (Cheryl). She has 8 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 4-6 at People's Funeral Chapel. A Graveside service will take place Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 10:30 am at Hanford Cemetery.
