RONALD CLARE WARREN Sr., age 71, of Mayville, MI, died October 7, 2010, at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 23, at the Avram Funeral Home. With Pastor Larry Kluck officiating.
There will be visitation from 12 P.M. until time of service.
There will be a burial service with military honors at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund.
Ronald was born to Earl and Audrey (Ivory) Warren on April 3, 1939 in Detroit, MI. He is a high school graduate. Ronald was in the Navy for 31 years and was a Vietnam veteran. He married Carol Keeley on July 24, 1965 in Port Huron, MI. He worked at Mayville Comm Schools for over 10 yrs as a janitor and a bus mechanic. It was important to him that the kids got to and from school safely. He also worked at Wingerts Hardware Store a couple of years. His hobbies were camping, hunting, fishing, bowling and stamp collecting. He also loved to harass his sisters. Ronald was a past member of the American Legion of Auburn Hills, MI.
He is survived by his wife Carol and 3 sons: Fred (Cheryl) Thomas of Boca Raton, FL, Ronald Jr. Mayville, Thomas (Lori) of Clifford, and one daughter: Audrey of Mayville, one brother: Earl and Cindy Warren of Ortonville, MI, one Sister: Kay Porteous of West Bloomfield, MI., many nieces and nephews, 6 grand children: Brent, Phenishia, and Zack Warren, Josh Kennedy, Brandon Thomas, and Michael Evans, 1 great grand daughter: Ashley Evans,
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Brent Warren, one brother, Gary Warren, 2 sisters, Joan Snow, and Sally Baker.
