Arthur Claude Northen, 87, died Sunday, September 11, in a local hospital.
He was born in Ashland, Alabama and had resided in Tampa, Florida before moving to Mount Carmel Home in Corpus Christi in July 1979. He was a retired employee of the state of Florida and a long-time member of the Palma Cela Methodist Church in Tampa.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Barbara Moorman of Corpus Christi, Mrs. Jane Double of Long Beach, California and Mrs. John Duane (Ann) Carter of Northridge, California; one son, A. C. Northen, Jr. of Los Angeles, California; six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Private family services will be conducted at Seaside Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Mount Carmel Home. Seaside Funeral Home.
