Old Rappahannock Co Deed Book 1 - 1656-1662; Antient Press; pg 71 - 72 KNOW ALL MEN by these presents that I MORE FANTLEROY of the County of Rappahanock gent for a valluable consideracon by me in hand received have bargained made over & conveyed unto JAMES SAMFORD of the aforesaid County Planter his heirs & assignes one parcel! of land containing Four hundred (missing) & lying on the South East or Lower side of TOTASKEYS CREEK in the County afore said & extendeth for length from a marked Pine standing by (missing) creek side on a point abutting & opposite to the upper (missing) land belonging to one THOMAS ROBYSON thence South by E 320 poles by a line of marked trees neer & adjoyning to the FOLLY LAND unto a sasafras Stump standing in an INDIAN FIELD toward a branch of RICHARDS his Creek & from the aforesaid marked Pine up by & along TOTASKEY CREEL side 200 poles for breth to a marked white Oak being opposite to the new plantacon of JOHN (missing) thence into the woods (missing) ) line parrallel to the first line (missing) over the upper part of the (missing) branch of RICHARDS his Creek (missing) marked red Oak (missing) lastly from thence West by (missing) to the sasafras stump the aforesaid four hundred (missing) of land being part (missing) land formerly granted to me the said FANTLEROY by Pattent To Have and To Hold the said Land unto him the said JAMES SAMFORD his heirs & assignes for ever without the hindrance of said FANTLEROY my heirs or assignes or any person whatsoever he the said SAMFORD paying the rents & services thereby due & further we the said MORE FANTLEROY & MARY my Wife do hereby oblige ourselves to rattify & confirme the same by acknowledgmt, thereof in Court when thereunto required & have hereunto put our hands & Seales this first day of November 1659 in presence of THOM: GOODRICH, M.
