Charles Wesley Flasher

Charles Wesley Flasher, aged 77 years, 11 months, and 12 days; died at the home of his son, Charles Barton Flasher, 11 Milford Street, Mount Union, Pa., Tuesday, May 17, 1927, about 5:15 pm. Mr. Flasher had not been well since December, 1926, but had been able to go about. His death was sudden, however, and unexpected. He had prepared to walk down the street in the evening and had gone up to his room for a few moments, but suddenly fell and passed away before aid could be rendered. Mr. Flasher was the son of Jacob and Cristina Flasher. He was born in Perry County June 5, 1849, but has lived in Huntingdon County most of his life. He was by occupation a farmer; and attended the Brethren Church. He is survived by the following children: Charles B. Flasher, of Mount Union; Mrs. Luela Florence Cassidy, of Montana; and Syble Gutshall of Trough Creek; and the following brothers and sisters: William Flasher, of Mount Union; Jacob B. Flasher, of Sipestown; and Mrs. Sally Booher, of Pittsburgh. Funeral services will be held at the home of Charles B. Flasher, Friday, May 20, 1927, t 2:30 P.M. Rev. H.W. Hanawalt, pastor of the Brethren Church. Interment, Jordan Cemetery.
