William Edwin Hiott, 70, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017.
Born in Anderson, he was the son of the late John Edwin and Frances Irene Greer Hiott. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a retired heavy machine mechanic with Sun Belt Rentals. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Anderson.
Survivors include his wife, Dianne E. Hiott of the home; two stepsons, Chris Greer (April) of Honea Path and Scott Greer of Belton; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a special friend, Dennis Brown of Abbeville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Bryan Edwin Hiott and William Allan Hiott.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 20, at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Dennis Brown. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
