Edward Gould married by 1643 Margaret (_____) Bacon, widow of GEORGE BACON . She died at Hingham 6 or 7 February 1682/3.
They had four children: Hannah, Sarah Cain, Abigail Lyon, & Hannah Hobart.
The list of daughters given above for this immigrant is highly problematic. The baptismal records at this time do not name the parents. There does not, however, seem to be any other Gould family in town at the time to which these girls could have belonged. Jarvis Gould appears to have had only sons, and Robert Gould seems to have been too young to be the father. Also, the baptisms of the last three all appear to have occurred when the girls were about eight to ten years old, an unusual circumstance.
