Mrs Mather was born Sept 2 1909 in Calhoun County to Frank and Lydia (wilson) Kline.

She had been a resident of Calhoun County all of her life and was a homemaker.

She married Merrell H Mather on Aug 8 1937 in Angola Ind He died July 5 1985.

She also was preceded in death by a son, Marvin Mather a daughter Martha Pratt three brothers and four sisters.

Surviving are a son, Duane Mather of Olivet; a daughter, Dorothy Beck of Jackson 16 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.

Visitation: Noon to 9 pm Wednesday at the Albion Chapel of Tidd-Williams Funeral Chapels where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 pm Services: 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev David Brooks officiating.

Burial: Fariview Cemetery Homer.
