Mrs. June Abbett passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017 at her home. She was a native of Cragford and a former resident of Ashland but had lived in Tallapoosa County for the past 39 years. Mrs. Abbett was a graduate of Lineville High School and had worked as a seamstress for Russell Manufacturing for over 35 years. She was a member of Liberty Holiness Church and loved tending her flower garden.
Mrs. Abbett is survived by one daughter, Suzianne Harris of Hackneyville; two sons: Lane Robinson of Hackneyville and Les Robinson (Angela) of Ashland; three sisters: Vondell Fetner of Lineville, Margaret Spurlin of Douglasville, GA and Vera Hayles of Dothan; one brother, James N. Yarbrough (Elyse) of Wedowee plus seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Garl Driscoll Yarbrough and Lois Virginia Padgett Yarbrough; her husband, Kyle Abbett; three sisters and four brothers.
