Retired Electrician NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C.- Mr. John Calvin Cox, 62, of Pinewood Ct., loving husband of 44 years to LaVonne Cox, entered into rest on Saturday, September 20, 2003 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held at Milam Funeral Home, Gainesville, Fla. on Wednesday, September 24, 2003 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Gainesville, Fla. Additional survivors include one son, John Cox of Virginia Beach, Va.; two daughters, Teri Cox Williams of Gainesville, Fla. and Gwen Cox Tant of Charlotte, N.C.; one sister, Marilyn Kamann of Chipley, Fla. and seven grandchildren. A native of Gainesville, Fla., Mr. Cox was a retired Journeyman Electrician of thirty-six years with IBEW Local #1205, Gainesville, Fla. and worked at SRS and John Deere.
