A celebration of life funeral mass for Dorothy McBee Finney will be held at St. John Berchman's Cathedral, St. Michael the Archangel Chapel, Shreveport, LA, Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 1:00 pm. Monsignor LaCaze officiating. Visitation will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home, 601 Highway 80 East, Haughton, LA, Friday, February 18, 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Dorothy was a long time parishioner of St. John Berchman' s Cathedral. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.E. and Faye McBee, sisters Valerie and Frances, and brother Ray. Left to cherish her memory are Joe, beloved husband of 59 years, children Cathy McManus (Chuck), Mary Duncan (David), and Christopher Finney (Morgan). Grandchildren, Megan and Katie Ho, Jeremy and Brandon Duncan and Jett Finney and Kennedy Nipper. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the donor's charity of choice. The family would like to thank St. Joseph's Hospice, especially Nancy Powell and Shirley Carter, who provided the warm, kind and loving care we all hope to receive at the end of our days.
