Dorothy Mason McKeon, 86, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009.
Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Prayer service: 6:30 p.m. Friday in Greenwood Garden Chapel.
Dorothy was born July 24, 1923, in Panama, Okla., to Calvin and Lillie Mason. She was the matriarch of the family. She loved traveling and crafts, but she loved her family the most. Dorothy celebrated her last birthday with 72 family members present. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon T. McKeon.
Survivors: Children, Sylvia Parker of Weatherford and Thomas McKeon and wife, Donna, Dorothy McVoid and husband, Bill, and Nancy Smith and husband, Larry, all of Springtown; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Everett Mason and wife, Betty, of Newark; sisters, Ruth Bruner of Fort Worth and Viola Wallis of Reno; and numerous nieces and nephews.
