Joan Sullivan Gray passed away May 17, 2013, at home in Angleton, Texas.
She was born on May 8, 1933 in Dallas, Texas. She spent her youth in Abilene, Texas and moved to Odessa, Texas where she met and married Floyd Jack Gray on November 23, 1955. 
She worked in the banking industry for many years in Houston and then in Angleton until retirement.She was a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed her retirement with her children and grandchildren around, but most of all she enjoyed being with her husband, and best friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil Sullivan and Mae Vick Sullivan. 
She is survived by her husband, Floyd “Jack” Gray; her daughter, Marcella Gray Tigner, and son Benjamin Franklin Gray; her grandchildren, Tiffany Tigner Schlensker and husband Joshua Schlensker, Williams Marshall Tigner and wife Nicole Hammond Tigner, and Katelyn Gray. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Logan Aleece Schlensker, Leighton Kay Schlensker and Cadence Caroline Tigner; and other close relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be James Blackstock, Michael Echevarria, Robert Stanley Lindner, Dale Rowlett, Paul Rowlett, and Joshua Schlensker.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with the funeral immediately following at 11:00am. Funeral services and visitation will be held at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton.
