Born Sept. 1, 1910, in
Statesville, she was a daughter
of the late William Alexander
and Katie Ophelia Shook Robbins.
Mrs. Blackwelder was a
homemaker and member of
Vanderburg United Methodist
Church, Mooresville.

She was preceded in death
by her husband, John Blackwelder;
daughter, Phyllis Mills;
brothers, Allie, Roy, Lucious,
Ethridge and Carl Robbins;
and sister, Hazel Robbins.

She is survived by a daughter,
Matoka Marlow and husband,
J.D., of Mooresville; brother,
Harold Robbins, of
Statesville; and grandchildren,
Dianne Swartz and husband,
Ricky, Carol Darby and husband,
George, Kay Gibson and
husband, Randy, Johnny Marlow
and wife, Colleen, Bradley
Mills, and Brian Mills and
wife, Julianna, all of Mooresville.

Funeral services will be at 3
p.m. Friday, April 7, at Vanderburg
United Methodist Church
Mooresville. Burial will follow
in the church cemetery. The
family will receive friends from
7-8:30 p.m., Thursday, April 6,
at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home,
Moores-ville.
