Parents: Sir John Tyndal(l) and Anne Eg(g)erton

She was the third wife of Governor John Winthrop of Massachusettes.

The two of them seemed to be much in love as some of their love letters have survived all these years.

When John left for America, beings she was pregnant she was left behind at Groton Hall, to sail to America the following year. She was accompanied by John's daughter-in-law and who was also his niece, Elizabeth (Fones) Winthrop, who would learn that she was a widow upon arriving in Massachusettes.
