GULFPORT --- Jeremiah "Jerry" Schroeder, 67, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002, in Gulfport.
Mr. Schroeder was a native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of the Coast. He was Navy veteran of the Korean conflict and was a broker for Schroeder Real Estate for 12 years. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Pearl Schroeder of Pass Christian; a son, Jeremiah "Jay" Schroeder of Gulfport; three daughters, Gayle Taylor of Gulfport, Kathy Wagner and Karen Slater, both of Pass Christian; a sister, June Henson of Corpus Christi, Texas; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Avenue in Gulfport, where friends may call one hour before service time. Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery. The family prefers memorials to St. James Catholic Church Endowment Fund, 366 Cowan Road, Gulfport, MS 39507.
