(1 Aug 1924 - 25 Jul 2009)

Sarah Mae (Shipley) Delashmutt was born August 1, 1924 in Denison, and passed away on July 25, 2009. She was the daughter of Maggie C. and James B. Shipley. Sarah was raised in Denison and graduated from Denison High School in 1941.

Through the years Sarah was very active as a dedicated gofer having founded many ladies golf leagues throughout her worldwide travels. She was admired and loved by many friends and will be missed by her husband; son, Brantley D. Delashmutt and his wife Joyce; her adopted daughter, Gloria Jean Allardyce and husband William; her three granddaughters; two grandsons; three great-grandsons and four great-granddaughters.
