DIED - Wednesday, January 23, 1889, at the residence of her son, Joel R. TOWNSEND in this place, Mrs. Vesta TOWNSEND, aged 75 years.
The deceased was a kind-hearted and christian woman, and leaves a host of relatives and friends to mourn her sudden departure from this world. Funeral services will be held at the M.E. church, this forenoon
at 11 o’clock. Her remains will be laid to rest in the Oliver cemetery in Fulton county. -- Macy Monitor.
