G, 1 Battalion 5 Regiment Veteran Reserve Corp. Here he was detailed as clerk to General Court Martial by Comd. of Lt. Col. Frederick on August 3, 1864. On January 10, 1865 he was detailed as clerk to General Court Martial by order of Bvt. Major General Hovey. Edgar D. Ivory was honorably discharged September 4, 1865.After the war, in 1867, Edgar came to California by way of the Isthmus of Panama.
