Betty Lou Greer Phillips, 82, of Greer died November 5, 2016. Born April 27, 1934 in Easley, South Carolina to the late Adrian Elgin Greer and Annie Nelle Couch.
She graduated from Easley High School in 1952. Betty retired as an Assistant Manager of the South Carolina Employment Commission branch in Seneca, SC in 1999. Betty lived her life dedicating every ounce of energy to her children and serving others.
Betty is survived by her brother, Phillip Greer, and wife Brenda of Easley; her sister, Nancy Bagwell of Greenwood; her sister, Sue Campbell of Pawleys Island; her son, Matthew Phillips of Greer; her son Lindsay Phillips of Taylors; her daughter, Joy Hamby, and husband Gary of Greer; grandsons, Josh Donald, Jake Donald, Sterling Truth; and granddaughter, Greer Phillips.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Covenant United Methodist Church.
