FamilySearch contributor tbianucci3106164 posted that John Fink was born in Rigelj, Gottshcee, Austria.This was in the Austro-Hungarian Empire at that time, and was a German-speaking area that is presently part of Slovenia. Riegel spelling in the German form. It does not exist. Gottschee is now called Kocevje (Coe-chev-yae).Endnotes
