Dr. William Ferrill Bruner

(20 Oct 1850 - 16 Feb 1898)

BRUNER. - Dr. Wm. Terrell Bruner was born in Pickens County, Ala., October 20, 1850, and came to Texas with his parents while in childhood. He began the study of medicine in the year 1874 and graduated in the Galveston Medical College in 1877. He began pracicing his profession in Fort Bend County, Texas, but after his marriage he moved to Brazoria County, where he continued the practice of his profession to the day of his death--February 16, 1898. His illness was brief, but very painful, and he seemed from the first to know that his earthly career was ended. But he was prepared for that hour. He had all the attention that medical skill could give, and was most tenderly nursed by his devoted wife and children and many friends, some who sought this means of expressing their gratitude for his kindness to them in sickness.
