Beulah was born in Pickens County and graduated from Gordo High in 1934. She moved to Tuscaloosa during WW II where she worked as a clerk at Hills Grocery Store. She and John built their first house in the Happy Acres community where they resided for over 20 years before moving to Skyland Park. Her hobbies included reading, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren.
