Charlsi Lyn Castles Webeck passed away at her home in Greeley, CO, surrounded by her loving family on Monday, October 21, 2019. She was born in San Angelo, TX, on August 26, 1938 to R.G. and Helen Maurine (Brown) Castles. Charlsi grew up in Abilene, TX, then later moved and graduated high school in East Palestine, OH. Charlsi was a graduate of McMurry University, Abilene, TX, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree as well as her Teaching Certificate. Charlsi taught school in the Denver Public School system as well as a substitute teacher at Platte Valley High School in Kersey, CO. She had numerous accounting positions before retiring.
Charlsi was blessed with three beautiful daughters; Jan, Jennifer Lyn, and Kim, as well as an amazing stepson Todd. Charlsi married the love of her life, Marlin (Butch) Webeck on December 1, 1984.
Charlsi loved to go bowling, fishing and camping, was an avid reader, a remarkable seamstress and beautiful pianist. Charlsi was an active member of her parish and was an annual volunteer of the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon for 17 years. Charlsi’s world revolved around her eight grand-children and one great-grandchild. There wasn’t anything that Charlsi wouldn’t do for her family.
She is survived by her husband Marlin (Butch), Greeley, CO, her children; Jan Schmidt, Frederick, CO, Jennifer Lyn (Ian) Matheson, Centennial, CO, and Kim (Shawn) Harmer, Greeley, CO; Daughter-In-Law Jennet Webeck, Hopkins, MN; grand-children; Misti Aragon, Tiffani Schmidt, Derrick Schmidt, Jared (Julianne) Harmer, Geoffrey (Courtney) Harmer, Hanna Matheson, TracyAnn Harmer and Jake Matheson; great-grandchild Mariah Aragon; sister Candace Olson, San Antonio, TX.
She was preceded in death by: her mother and father, Helen Maurine and R.G. Castles and step-son Todd Webeck.
Celebration of Life for Charlsi C. Webeck will be at 11:00 a.m., November 15, 2019, held at Redeemer
Lutheran Church, 7263 W 4th Street, Greeley, CO 80634.
A celebration luncheon will be hosted by the Women of the Moose immediately following the service at 12:00 p.m., Greeley-Evans Moose Lodge, 3456 11th Ave, Evans, CO 80620.
