William Jefferson Holloway

William was born in KY in 1821. In 1841 he moved to Missouri, where he resided until 1852 when he came to Fremont County, Iowa. He married Mary E Allison of Holt County, MO in 1849 and they had 9 children. William was a farmer in Plum Hollow. Mary died at the age of 43 years 7 months 8 days, leaving 7 children. William married Mrs. Nancy Hoop (Thorp) in 1873 and they had one son, Charles. Nancy died December 25, 1876. William died June 1, 1881 at the age of 59 years 6 months 11 days.
